MachiningThe main body of the chuck is a series of concentric diameters machined from solid bar, for strength and stability. The chuck is fitted with hardened and ground bearing sleeves to hold the bearing for extended service and operation.
The
location mechanism of the chuck is produced by interlocking serviceable component
parts with a ground stock location plate for strength and stability.
The chuck has a pneumatically controlled locking mechanism, using quad ring seals especially selected and imported from Germany. The seals can be seen on the main body which runs inside a brass encasement for extended maintenance free service and operation. Being pneumatic it is intrinsically safe therefore it is able to used in volatile areas, it is also clean so its ideal for use in food or medical industries.
